THE BULL THEATRE IN THE COMMUNITY

The Bull Theatre, Barnet, is a registered charity (charity number 110600).   We receive no grants or funding and rely on theatre hires and community support to keep our doors open.
All monies received go towards running the theatre, replenishing equipment and keeping the building safe and available for community use.

The Borough of Barnet

is a diverse community, it includes large populations of elderly , young people and families of many different cultures. and we try to provide something for ALL!!

  • PROJECTS have been set up offering opportunities to individuals and groups from the Community who are interested in participating in, and keen to take advantage of, the facilities afforded by The Bull Theatre.

  • Not only do we open our doors to professional artists, but local groups for open discussions and meetings.

  •  LOCAL AMATEUR COMPANIES  who may have little or no funds often put on productions to raise money for charity themselves.   They find the competitive price of The Bull Theatre attractive as well as having the opportunity of being in full control of their productions by being able to operate (supervised by our production team) aspects of the Theatre such as lighting, sound, stage management and box office etc.

  • BARNET CHRISTMAS FAYRE we take part and  hold weekly meetings throughout the year organising and planning the Barnet Christmas Fayre with many other dedicated people including Barnet Borough Arts Council. Our aim is to bring magic and joy to Barnet every year!

  • SCHOOL SHOWS The Bull Theatre is a popular venue for school shows and we have a growing clientelle now using our theatre on a regular basis for their annual shows.

  • CURTAIN UP! is a group for adults with learning difficulties. they hold classes and shows here at The Bull Theatre

  • ELDERS DANCE COMPANY is a dance class for  50 years+  every Thursday 4.15pm - 5.15pm. This contemporary dance theatre performance company is based at The Bull Theatre and performs regularly in Theatres , Community Centres, Community Spaces and in schools. For further D2D Elders Company director Jane Judd 07704 588 508
