​Blue Door Theatre Company weaves verbatim stories and imagined events from 1940s Barnet, from the newly opened Odeon picture house to a makeshift wartime shelter.

 

Featuring classic songs and moving drama, this fascinating production asks whether the nightingale still sings over Barnet. Written by the company, directed by Siobhan Dunne, music arranged by Nick Godwin.

Colindale Barnet Folk Club welcomes singer-songwriter and storyteller Linda Moylan, whose music explores everything from forgotten stories and uncelebrated heroines of the past to her own personal and family experiences.

 

Described as a “stunning singer-songwriter, with a voice to die for” by John Barlass of At The Barrier, Linda is a natural storyteller with songs full of character, history and personal experience.

 

The evening will also feature floor spots from talented local performers from 8pm.

Little Voices North London presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical JR., performed by a talented cast of local children and young people.

Matilda is a brilliant child with an extraordinary mind and some rather extraordinary powers. With the help of Miss Honey, she takes on the fearsome Miss Trunchbull and inspires her classmates to stand up for themselves.

​

Featuring songs including Naughty and Revolting Children, this energetic 60-minute youth production brings the much-loved story to life.

The Bull Theatre is putting the spotlight on Barnet’s amazingly talented young singers at our regular Under 18s Open Mic Night.

​

Our stage has been a springboard for many successful local artists, including Amy Winehouse, Jess Glynne and Alexandra Burke.
