Barnet Christmas Fayre
Sunday 7th December 2025, 12 noon – 5pm

The Barnet Christmas Fayre is free annual event with communities coming together to celebrate what we offer each other, bring footfall to our high street and to raise awareness of local charities at this special time of the year. This year’s Fayre has been organised by The Bull Theatre and the BCF Committee Members, working in partnership with Barnet and Southgate College, St John the Baptist Church, Wesley Hall, The Spires Shopping Centre and Barnet Council.
The Fayre will be opened at 12 noon by the worshipful, the mayor of the London Borough of Barnet, Cllr Danny Rich who will cut a ribbon on the high street by Barnet Church then proceed to the marque on the Christmas Courtyard to formally welcome everyone and start the event.
There will be entertainment at the following locations:
Christmas Courtyard: children’s activities and dancing from local groups)
St John’s Church: live music, singing and choirs plus teas, mulled wine and refreshments
Wesley Hall: live music plus tea and cakes café
The Spires Shopping Centre: live music, choirs, and performances, meet and greet characters
Outside Waitrose: choirs, buskers and street entertainers (weather permitting).
Stalls will line the high street as well as on the Christmas Courtyard, Tudor Hall (craft fair), through the Spires Shopping Centre and in Wesley Hall.
The Bull Theatre will host Santa’s Grotto and LEON's Magic Show, creating a magical festive experience for families. Santa’s Grotto will be open from 12.30pm to 4pm, with free entry and optional donations towards the Christmas Fayre. Visitors can enter through the front gate, follow the path along the side of the building, and come in through the open Studio/Café door (step-free access available). During LEON’s Magic Show, two of Santa’s elves will join him on stage as they work towards earning their Magician’s Assistant Badge, adding an extra touch of festive fun. Tickets for the Magic Show are £5 (plus booking fee).
The day would not happen without help from our police officers, who keep us safe, and all our wonderful volunteers.
